Extended Stay America Suites - Long Island - Melville, Melville

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were always super clean, but unfortunately, mine was literally facing the front door, so opening the curtains was not an option. The service was well ran, and the staff, especially Danny & Denise, were great. The location was good, about 25 minutes to Jones Beach and 45 minutes into NYC, but the area felt small and congested. The dining options were limited to supermarket muffins, granola bars, fresh fruit, and coffee, which was disappointing. However, the price was reasonable for such a location.

The hotel was reasonably located in Central Long Island, quiet despite being in a light industrial area, and served our purpose well. The rooms, while adequate, had some issues like a non-working tub drain and lack of frequent servicing. The staff was mostly friendly, although we encountered some problems during our stay. The dining options were limited to grab-and-go items, but we found it convenient for a quick breakfast. Overall, we had mixed feelings about the value for money.

The hotel is in a convenient location, not too far from major stores, with a nice setup in a quiet neighborhood. However, the rooms were dirty and had a bad smell, making the stay unpleasant. The service was good overall, but the price seemed a bit high for what was offered.
